How do I prepare for my appointment?

For both BIE and Body Talk please be sure to be well hydrated the days before and after your appointment for best results. If we work with foods you will be asked to avoid those particular foods for approximately 48 hours. For BIE I will be working with pressure points on your face, torso, and bare feet. You will be given an information package before your first session to help you get the best results and tips for self care.

How do you work with babies and small children?

We will use the parent as a surrogate. For BIE, your child will sit on your lap or beside you, and he or she will hold the signature frequencies stored in little glass vials (or we tuck it inside their collar) while you hold your child’s hand and I muscle check your other hand. The parent is essentially serving as an extension cord. For Body Talk, depending on the age of the child, we may use the parent as the surrogate or I may be able to work with the child directly. Either method is equally as effective since the child is the focus for the session. Smaller kids and babies also experience incredible healing opportunities when Body Talk is done remotely over Zoom!

Are there side effects with BIE or Body Talk?

Many people will feel tired the days of and for a day or two following their Body Talk or BIE session. Occasionally some will develop a headache or feel a little off as their body comes into balance. Please drink 2 L of water the day of and for 2 days following your appointment to help hold the frequencies and reduce any side effects. Also follow any tips and recommendations given to you in your session such as avoidance of certain substances. Those coming for the Veltheim Method of Lymphatic Drainage will receive extra information on what to expect following a session.

When will I notice an improvement in my symptoms?

Some people feel better immediately following BIE and Body Talk while others can take up to a month to notice symptom relief. This depends on the person’s health status, severity of imbalances, stress levels, and what we worked on. Neither modality is a “quick fix”. We are simply giving the body the tools it needs to heal itself. For most people there are multiple factors behind their health issues so we need time and patience to put all the puzzle pieces together and allow the body to come into balance. For the majority of my clients it can take 3 to 4 sessions before you notice an improvement in your health. So worth the wait!

Are your services covered under Health Benefits?

I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and bill your sessions as a Nutrition Consultation so you can check with your provider whether this is covered. My services are not covered under Naturopath or Dietitian.
